Our New Priest-in-Charge
It is with joy and gladness we announce that The Rev. Geoffrey Piper will be the new Priest-in-Charge of St. Andrew’s Church.
Our New Leadership Model
As our Priest-in-Charge, Mr. Piper will have the same duties and authority as a rector - granted to him by the Bishop. During the year Geoffrey will be in residence for six months, Nov 1st - April 30th. For the other months we are blessed to have Fr. John Warfel and Fr. Chris Gray step in, each for three months. During this time, Mr. Piper will maintain leadership and oversight of St. Andrew’s and will return periodically to be with the congregation.
With the agreement of Fr. Gray, Fr. Warfel, and our new Priest-in-Charge, Geoffrey Piper, we expect this model to continue for multiple years.

Our staff and vestry are currently working side by side during a transition period, following the departure of our rector and the arrival of the next person God is calling to lead us into the future.
Our Mission Statement, “bringing God and people together in love, through Jesus Christ,” is a very accurate statement of what we have found to be true about St. Andrew’s. This congregation serves with open hearts—helping to create a community where all are welcomed, faith is nurtured, and God’s grace transforms lives.
