Ways to Donate

There are many meaningful ways to support the mission and ministry of

Saint Andrew’s—both here in Boca Grande and around the world—through your financial gifts.

What is Stewardship?

Financial stewardship is a vital expression of our faith and an essential part of a balanced spiritual life. It’s not simply about money—it’s about gratitude, mission, and ministry. Through stewardship, we return to God a portion of the blessings we have received. It is a powerful and tangible way to participate in God’s work in the world. As we are blessed, so we bless others.

At St. Andrew’s, stewardship supports every aspect of our life together. Financial gifts enable us to offer meaningful worship and beautiful music, provide pastoral care and spiritual formation, support our clergy and staff, and extend Christ’s love through outreach, education, and mission in the Boca Grande/Englewood community and beyond.

Each fall, we invite parishioners to make a one-year financial commitment—known as a stewardship pledge. Pledges allow the vestry to plan responsibly, build a sustainable budget, and make wise decisions for both the present and the future of our parish. Your commitment ensures that we can continue to grow in faith, serve others, and share the Gospel in all that we do.

Pledges may be fulfilled in a variety of ways: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually—via cash, check, automatic bank withdrawal, credit card through our website, or gifts of stock or securities. If your financial situation changes, your pledge can be adjusted at any time.

Although our annual campaign takes place in the fall, new gifts and pledges are welcomed at any time throughout the year. Join us in supporting the mission and ministry of St. Andrew’s through faithful and generous stewardship.

PLANNED GIVING:

A LEGACY OF FAITH AND HOPE

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church depends on the generosity of parishioners and friends like you to sustain our ministry today and into the future. Planned giving is a meaningful way to extend your support—through a gift that aligns with your values, honors your legacy, and ensures the continued vitality of Saint Andrew’s for generations to come.

Whether through a current gift of cash or stock, or as part of your estate planning, your contribution becomes a lasting expression of faith and stewardship.

The Power of Planned Giving

Planned gifts offer many benefits:

  • Flexibility – You retain control of your assets during your lifetime and can update your plans at any time.

  • Versatility – Structure your gift in a way that works best for you: a specific item, a percentage, or contingent on certain events.

  • Tax Relief – Charitable bequests may reduce the taxable value of your estate, offering potential tax benefits to your heirs.

No matter the size, every gift—current or deferred—plays a role in shaping the future of our church. When we come together in faith, generosity, and vision, we secure a legacy rooted in Christ’s love.

Our Endowment Funds

The St. Andrew’s Operating Endowment

This endowment was created to sustain the daily life and ministry of our parish. Gifts to the Operating Endowment provide essential support for the church’s ongoing operations—administration, worship, pastoral care, and community engagement. These resources allow us to continue sharing the Gospel, offering hope, healing, and encouragement to all who seek it.

The St. Andrew’s Legacy Endowment

The Legacy Endowment was established to enrich the long-term ministry and mission of St. Andrew’s, especially in life’s later seasons. Your support helps expand pastoral care, outreach efforts, and the spiritual formation of our community—ensuring that St. Andrew’s can respond to life’s challenges with compassion, grace, and purpose.

Donors to the Legacy Endowment are welcomed into The Bishop William Gray Society, a community of visionary supporters who share the founding spirit of Bishop William Crane Gray. Together, they embody a commitment to ensuring St. Andrew’s remains a spiritual home for future generations.
